ROUND 2: Plant Bioswales with Green Streets, Clean Streams in Westview

In Partnership with Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, we'll be installing bioswales in existing bump-outs along Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. Volunteers will add soil and riverstone plus plant trees and grasses in each bioswale.


WE NEED VOLUNTEERS: 

No prior experience is necessary – Trees Atlanta will teach you what to do. Be sure to sign up to volunteer: SIGN UP - ROUND 2.


Liability Release: Volunteers for this project must be 16 years or older. Volunteers between the ages of 16 and 17 who are not accompanied by a parent/guardian must bring a waiver signed by a parent/guardian. All other volunteers must agree to our liability waiver when registering for this project.


Physical activity such as bending, lifting, and digging with a shovel is required.


Projects happen rain or shine, so please check the weather beforehand and come prepared. Trees Atlanta will provide all necessary tools and instruction. All volunteers need closed-toed shoes or boots, clothes that can get dirty, sunscreen and bug spray as needed, snacks as needed (though a meal or snack before the project is recommended), and drinking water in reusable containers. No one-time-use plastic bottles, please.
