Volunteers Needed: Streetside Tree Planter Project Update

11 Mar 2019 10:53 AM | Deleted user

Kelly Ridenhour with Trees Atlanta and Erik Fyfe with Chattahoochee Riverkeeper are working on a project to plant streetside trees that manage stormwater.

2 Locations in Westview neighborhood were selected with plans to install at the end of March.

We encourage the community to get involved with the planting.
Projects happen rain or shine, so please check the weather beforehand and come prepared. Trees Atlanta will provide all necessary tools and instruction. All volunteers need closed-toed shoes or boots, clothes that can get dirty, sunscreen and bug spray as needed, snacks as needed (though a meal or snack before the project is recommended), and drinking water in reusable containers. No one-time-use plastic bottles, please.
